I can't find the secret message!

i've recorded and played the audio backwards and forwards, side to side, faster and slower, and can find no secret message.

i'm assuming i'm trying too hard.

anyway, i'm determined to find it!!!

This game could have potential. I can see that you're new to constructing a game in flash, as some things would not work (such as entering a name or choosing an opponent, you could never unlock others). The animation and tweening, however, was excellent. I'd say with a little better knowledge of actionscripting, you'll be able to make much more complete games. A 3 for effort.

The game is currently broken... sadly. It was because of a server crash, but it'll be back up when the NG-Chat is ready because Newgrounds is awesome like that.

I've seen many many platform tutorials out there while trying to learn how to make one myself. Most of them just use the whole copy and pasting script, which can easily lead to flaws. This tutorial not only shows examples, but it clearly demonstrates how each new piece of information within actionscripting is utilized. If you are an aspiring flash games developer, this tutorial is great for you. It covers the most key aspects to creating a platformer in flash, and one without any knowledge of actionscripting could begin constructing a game with this tutorial. This is no doubt the best platformer game tutorial I've ever seen, and deserves far more than 10 out of 10 stars.
